Antibacterial Skin Spray · Green Apple · For Dogs & Cats

For the graze you find after the walk. The patch he keeps scratching. The day-three smell when the next bath is still days away.

Two sprays. Bactraguard cleanses and protects on contact, helps guard against bacterial infection, and leaves your pet smelling of green apple instead of medicine.

Aloe vera and flax seed oil keep skin soft through daily use. Tea tree, lemongrass, turmeric and myrrh do the protecting. Gentle enough for every single day.

No aerosol hiss, so your pet actually lets you use it. 100ml.

Bactraguard is an antibacterial skin spray for dogs and cats. It cleanses and protects minor cuts, wounds and abrasions, helps guard against bacterial infection, soothes uncomfortable skin, and neutralises odour so your pet stays fresh between baths. Tea tree, lemongrass, turmeric and myrrh do the protecting. Aloe vera and flax seed oil keep the skin soft, which is what makes it gentle enough to use every day.
Whenever your pet comes back from the world. After walks, after the park, after outdoor play, after grooming. On the graze you find while brushing. On the patch he keeps scratching. On the flaky bit behind the ears. And on the third day after a bath, when the smell arrives and the next bath is still a week away. Two sprays, worked into the skin with your fingertips.
Yes to both. Bactraguard is made for dogs, cats and other pets, and it is formulated to be skin friendly enough for regular use. That is what the 5% flax seed oil and the aloe vera juice are there for. Cats groom thoroughly, so apply lightly and let it dry. Keep it away from the eyes, ears, nose and genitals on any pet.
Green apple, with a warm resinous note underneath from the myrrh. That is a deliberate choice. Pets learn the smell of a medicated spray fast and start avoiding the bottle, and a spray nobody can use is a spray that does nothing. Bactraguard also uses a pump rather than an aerosol, so there is no hiss to flinch at. Your pet will let you do this twice a day.

Loved by Indian pet parents

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs.

★★★★★

I bought this antibacterial spray for my dog because he often gets small scratches while playing outdoors. The spray is easy to apply and does not make the area too messy. My dog does not get uncomfortable during application, which is a big relief. It has become a useful product to keep in his regular grooming and hygiene kit.

★★★★★

My dog has sensitive skin and sometimes develops mild irritation around his paws and belly after outdoor walks. This spray is convenient to use and the bottle gives a controlled spray. I have been using it regularly as mentioned on the label. It feels practical for everyday hygiene and minor skin-care needs. A good product for dog parents to keep at home.

★★★★★

I ordered this spray mainly for maintaining hygiene around minor cuts, scratches and irritated areas on my dog's skin. The application is quick and much easier than using creams, especially when my dog does not sit still for long. I like that it can be applied directly without touching the area too much. A handy addition to our pet first-aid and grooming routine.

Got questions?

Everything
you need
to know.

Two sprays, wherever your pet needs them. The rest is just detail.

Shake well. Part the coat so the spray reaches skin rather than sitting on fur, then apply to the area and work it in with your fingertips. Twice daily on a spot that needs attention, or once daily after walks and grooming. Keep it away from the eyes, the inside of the ears, the nose and the genitals. Let it dry before your pet settles on the furniture.
Minor cuts, grazes and abrasions. The scrape you find while brushing. The patch he keeps scratching at. Flaky, crusty skin behind the ears or along the back. Paws after a walk through a wet street. After grooming, after the park, after any outdoor day. And whenever the smell arrives and the next bath is still days away.
Yes. Bactraguard is made for dogs, cats and other pets. Cats groom more thoroughly than dogs, so apply lightly, let it dry fully before your cat settles, and keep it away from the face. If your cat is pregnant, nursing or on medication, have a quick word with your vet first.
Yes, and that is the point of it. Flax seed oil at 5% is the largest ingredient in the bottle, with aloe vera juice alongside. They are there so that daily use conditions skin rather than drying it out. Most protective sprays leave skin tight and get reserved for emergencies. This one is built to live by the door.
Green apple, and a pump instead of an aerosol. Pets learn the smell of a medicated spray within days and start disappearing when the bottle comes out, and the hiss of an aerosol does the rest. Bactraguard has neither. There is a warm resinous note under the apple from the myrrh, so it is not a perfume, but your pet should have no reason to object.
Curcumin is a strong pigment, so on white, cream and very light coats, daily use on the same patch can leave a faint tint. It washes out at the next bath. If your pet is white or show coated, patch test somewhere hidden first and apply with a light hand.
From 12 weeks, applied lightly and once daily to small areas. Young animals have thinner skin and groom more, so go gently. For anything on an animal under 12 weeks, or anything widespread, check with your vet first.
Yes to Furtick and to oral supplements, no interaction. With a medicated shampoo, bathe first, let the coat dry fully, then spray. If your vet has prescribed a topical treatment, ask them before layering this on top of it.
Recap and store below 25 degrees C, out of direct sunlight. Shake before each use. Keep out of reach of children, and do not use beyond the printed expiry.
Bactraguard is for minor, everyday things. Anything deep, anything from a bite, anything hot, swollen, spreading or discharging, or any spot that is not improving within a couple of days, deserves a proper look from your vet. A spray is a good first response, not a diagnosis.
