If your dog's anxiety is severe and the tablet alone is not enough, the appropriate next step is a veterinary behaviourist assessment alongside consistent desensitisation training. Herbal Mind works best as part of a comprehensive anxiety management approach, not as a sole solution for severe cases.
For situational use (Diwali, vet, groomer, car, thunder): 1–2 tablets 60–90 minutes before the trigger. Give before the anxiety starts — not after. For chronic daily use (separation, noise sensitivity, reactive dogs): 1 tablet once daily at the same time. Dogs under 10kg: 1 tablet. Dogs over 25kg: 2 tablets. Chicken-flavoured — most dogs take it directly from your hand.
Ideally 2–3 weeks before — to build the baseline effect of ashwagandha and L-tryptophan. If you're starting in the days before, that's fine: give the situational dose (2 tablets, 60–90 minutes before crackers begin) and continue daily after.
