About Richpet: pet care from India, sized to your pet's weight

It usually starts with a small moment.

A dog waiting by the door before you have reached for your keys. A head resting on your foot while you work. The way they choose you, over and over, without ever being asked to. Somewhere in that, a pet stops being an animal in the house and becomes someone in the family.

Richpet began with that feeling, and with a question that followed from it.

If they give us everything they have, what are we giving back?

Not in the big moments. In the ordinary ones. In the coat that stays soft. In the walk that ends without a worry. In the cold night when they are warm because you thought ahead. That is where love actually lives for a pet parent, in the small daily acts of looking after someone who cannot ask.

So we set out to build a brand for those acts. Everything that keeps a dog well and comfortable through an ordinary day: protection, skin and coat, warmth, the everyday essentials a household reaches for without thinking. Made carefully enough that a pet parent can trust the pack without needing to become an expert to read it.

That turned out to be the hard road.

The finest ingredients and the most advanced formats in pet care were being developed far from here, and they reached India either at a price few families could sustain or not at all. We refused to accept that as the ceiling. So we brought them in, adapted them for Indian homes and Indian weather, and built them here rather than importing a finished promise and marking it up. Made in India, held to a global standard, priced so a family can keep choosing it month after month. That discipline is the brand.

Then came the part no plan prepares you for. Asking a stranger to trust you with their dog.

Amazon is where that trust was earned.

Amazon gave us a national shelf from the very first day, so a pet parent in a small town could find us as easily as anyone in a city, with the same delivery promise and the same protection behind it. Fulfilment by Amazon carried the weight of logistics while we were still small, so our hours went into making products better instead of moving boxes. Amazon's reviews gave us the one thing that cannot be manufactured: pet parents telling other pet parents the truth, in their own words, on a page we do not control. And Amazon's account and advertising teams stayed alongside us as we grew, helping us hear what pet parents were really asking for and turning one product into a full range for dogs and cats.

The beginning was quiet. A handful of orders, packed and checked by hand, every one of them somebody's whole world. Those few became hundreds. Hundreds became thousands. Today Richpet sits in homes across the country as part of the routine, and most of those families come back to us on their own, which is the only compliment we have ever really wanted.

We are still building. Care does not stop at protection and warmth. Food, everyday accessories, all of it deserves to be made better from the inside out, and that is the work ahead.

Because they only get one life, and they spend all of it on us.

The least we can do is take very good care of it.
